I have been an associate of Long Island Hearing for over 10 years. I started working at the front desk, as a Patient Care Coordinator. I was in my freshman year of college when I realized I had an interest to make hearing health care a career for myself.

While obtaining my BA in Communication Sciences and Disorders at Plattsburgh State University , I acquired my New York State Hearing Aid Dispensing License. I went on to obtain my Master's of Science in Audiology through Adelphi University, and most recently have obtained my Doctorate in Audiology from the University of Florida. I am dedicated to helping our patients obtain optimum results with the hearing instruments they wear.

Jennifer L. Kent-Briante

Patient Care Coordinator
NYS Licensed Dispenser Trainee

I have been an associate of Long Island Hearing since 1995. I am very happy to be with this company not only because I work with my family, but it is also exciting to help someone hear “again”; the look on one's face is something that you never forget. My duties in our office are making sure that everyone who arrives at our office is treated with respect, and always has a smile on before they leave. I must admit that I am pretty good at it! I love making people laugh, even when they aren't in the mood to do so. Laughter is the key to a longer, happier life! I am also training to be a licensed hearing instrument specialist. This entitles me to conduct hearing evaluations, take impressions of ears and fit hearing instruments. I also repair and service hearing instruments at our one of a kind lab on premises. I look forward to coming to the office each day and helping people with their hearing difficulties.
