Before Tommy obtained hearing aids, communication was very difficult. Now the he hears well again, our bond feels stronger. Plus, the world has expanded for him. Tommy says his hearing has been restored to when he was a child. He’s enjoying the sounds of nature. He can listen to TV at a reasonable volume. Now, our cat will stay in the bedroom while Tommy watches programs. Another improvement is Tommy staying awake during church services. Before, since he couldn’t hear well, it was hard for him to focus.

Went to Long Island Hearing after almost giving up hope on ever hearing again. Several years ago I lost the hearing in my left ear and was told I wouldn’t hear again in this ear. I met Jennifer back in 2016 after seeing an ad in the paper about hearing aid repairs. I had been to many other places to try and get my 8 year old hearing aid fixed. Everywhere I went they denied me and tried to sell me new ones. That was until I met Jennifer. I had no experience with hearing instruments or the process of selection, purchasing and fitting. My health insurance has a subcontractor so I called them and they recommended Long Island Hearing Inc. as a provider in my area. So I made a list of questions and concerns for my first visit which were negative in nature towards wearing and my perceived improvement of what hearing instruments can do for me. Wish I could give more stars! LI Hearing is the best. My mother has been going to them over 20 years, since they were located in Sears. My research led me to Long Island Hearing Inc. in Levittown, From my first phone call and speaking to Marianne, who was absolutely amazing on the phone , she Told me to come on in And when I got to introduce me to Jessica and to Janet After her examination , an listening to my shortfalls in hearing we started a hearing test that I could tell. She is customized over the years to really lock in on the persons problem exactly I was amazed that the process that she used I knew this was gonna make a difference.. Then she asked what was the matter with my old Hearing Aids and I explained to him from day one they never worked correctly in my opinion They were Oticons Which she said was good hearing aid company, My hearing aid was in front of her on the desk and from a few feet away as she was reaching for it she says I could see already while these hearing aids don’t work. A couple of the items on the hearing aid were the wrong type and she spent a couple minutes and change these two pieces on my old hearing aid And then the first time in four years, the hearing aid actually worked I was so amazed She totally won me over with that because I went back to my old ENT In Garden City and All I ever got told was nothing is wrong many many many times. Janet Help me pick out a new hearing aid the Starkey Omega A1 We ordered them the other day And I am excitingly, anticipating using them. Mary Ann whom I first spoke to was so helpful – she answered all my questions in a most cheerful manor – in fact I told her she was the reason I was making an appointment. I went to LI Hearing because of the service they had given my son who wore a hearing aid.. Sean was a Downe Syndrome young man who received his hearing aid thru Medicaid from NCMS,which did not offer good service if the hearing aid had to be repaired. They some times kept them three weeks, and did not offer a lender hearing aid. i had called LI Hearing when he had a complaint and they saw him, and most times it was something minor, but they would fix it, and would not accept any payment. There ar en’t too many who would, if he needed to borrow a hearing aid they would give him one with no charge. These are caring people, one nicer than the other. I would highly recommend them for good service and kindness.

I cannot recommend Long Island Hearing enough!! My 87 year old mom has been having issues finding a place that was willing to maintain her existing hearing aids without the hard sell for a new pair. Let me start with the receptionist at the desk. There are a few who work the front desk. Each and everyone of them are the most courteous, respectful and attentive people to help you with your needs. They listen and pay strict attention to what you have to say. They given me an appointment with one of the audiologist named Janet. In the first minute of meeting Janet, . I became completely at ease and knew I was in good hands. I needed new hearing aids and Janet was able to suggest a new pair of hearing to the market which directly will work with the need I had for hearing aids . Janet got the situation in gear and got My hearing aids ordered. I was looking forward to getting them before an event that I would be attending and they would be very beneficial for me in the situation I would be in I called the receptionists at the desk many times to follow up on the shipment and to please get them before the date I needed them! They were so nice and patient each and every time I called. I also spoke to Janet many times as well! They called me and told me they finally came in and set my appointment up for set-up with Janet. I could not be more happier than time I had to walk out with my new hearing aids in my ear. A job well done by a staff who cared, who listen and did everything they could to get me the new hearing aids in time for my need! Their patience with me goes well beyond a 5. I recommend Long Island Hearing , Inc to anyone with hearing difficulties. They are very professional at what they do. And know how to do it above and beyond. I was only allowed to give them 5 stars. I recently had a problem with my hearing aids. My former audiologist retired and closed his practice, so I had to find someplace new. Since this place is nearby I thought I would try it. Good Choice ! Janet fixed my original problem which was a bad microphone. I also thought I should get a long overdue hearing test. I saw Bill who administered the test and reprogramed the hearing aids to match the test. He also tweaked a couple of the frequencies to improve quality of the sound. I’m now hearing better than ever. Janet and Bill were both very pleasant and helpful as was the front office staff. They are now my hearing professionals going forward. Since I’m giving an honest review, I feel I have to add that parking could be better. Chris
